10 Great Man Cave Ideas

10 Great Man Cave Ideas

So you have set aside a great space for your man cave. You have a shed, a cellar, a loft or a garage dedicated to everything manly. A great place for you and your mates to hang out, drink a few beers and hang up your hat for a while, letting the days stresses and strains fade into the distance.

Whatever your choice of man space we're sure you'll want a bit of decoration to add some fun and personalise your pad, whether it's cars you're into or bars we have 10 great additions to any man cave that are up to the job.

man cave sign

1. Our great classic cast metal man cave sign is a necessary sign to have above or on your door. It's solid cast, durable and rustic, perfect for any serious man cave.

man shed sign

2. If your man cave is more of a man shed then this cast metal Man Shed sign is a good alternative to our classic 'Man Cave' sign. It is still hand cast in solid metal, so up for any outdoor weather conditions.

bat cave sign

3.If you see yourself more as a hero of the night then our 'Bat Cave' sign has to be the one on your door. Solid cast metal and can be used indoors or out.

wall mounted bottle opener

4.Once inside the man cave you will want an area for refreshment and what better way to open a few beers that with this original crafted cast iron wall mounted bottle opener?

Ferrari plaque

5.If your man cave is dedicated to your love of fast cars then there are some great automotive plaques that celebrate all that was great from yester year. Our favourite is this Ferrari plaque but don't stop there with so many to add to your wall collection.

GWR Railway Sign

6. If the era of steam and railway memorabilia could turn your man cave into a station waiting room, then there are some seriously great repro plaques to add to your platform. This GWR art deco style plaque will bring a bit of class to your carriage.

industrial metal swivel stool

7. If you're looking for some cool seating ideas, this industrial metal swivel stool will add a bit of class to your cave, it's also a great place to park your bum.

old metal folding chair

8.This old original folding chair is a solid seating idea for the smaller cave, great for sitting on then folding away for later.

moustache and beard comb

9.All that leaves you to think about now is a bit of male grooming before you head back out into the hustle and bustle of the high street. This nifty moustache and beard comb made from cast pewter can be dropped in your pocket before you leave your lair.

stripe hat and coat hook.

10. So it's time to pick up your hat and coat on the way out. This very masculine stripe design cast iron hat and coat hook is the best coat hook for any suave man cave, it's so good we're sure you'll want to drop everything here every night.

Enjoy The Garden Party Fun

Enjoy The Garden Party Fun

We are on a great gardening theme this week.

Although it's time well spent working in your garden it is also great to have get togethers and garden parties with friends and family as often as possible.
With Summer now in full flow, even if the British weather is a little on the cooler side this year, it is still time to make the most of these warmer days.
Getting outdoors as much as possible is good for the soul and it's always those little touches that make a difference to your outdoor space.
We are in the garden sign
Whether its a great garden sign, a boot pull or a drinks carrier to make sure you are well refreshed at all times.
We love the wall mounted bottle openers that are so cleverly placed on the side of these wooden beer bottle carriers, the ideal holder to retreat into your man cave with a few mates at the end of the day.
There are so many great additions to make sure your place is fun and enjoyable to be in at the same time.
This vintage wall mounted bottle opener can just as easily be fixed to an outside wall as it can onto a wooden table or work surface in the shed or garage. It is the one thing you need for garden parties and barbecues as it saves you constantly searching for the bottle opener.
Cast Iron Bottle Openers
If you like to keep a bottle opener on your person at all times then the vintage hand held bottle opener can be easily clipped onto your key ring so that you are never without this handy tool.
If you like to keep areas of your garden private then this cast private sign is perfect for smaller gates or doorways.
If you are worried about guests falling down a hidden step or banging their head on a low beam or doorway then the 'mind the step' or 'mind your head' are the signs to display near to the danger zone.
If you are lucky enough to have your own pool and are thinking of having a pool party this summer then this handy solid cast, 'please shower before using the pool' sign is hard wearing and pretty at the same time.
If you like to bring a little humour to your events then this 'On this site in 1785 Nothing Happened' sign is sure to get a laugh or two. Or maybe a 'Dog House' sign is more your sense of humour.
If you need space near to your home for yourself or party guests to park then there are a number of 'No Parking' sign choices to display nearby or in your private driveway.
Whatever you are doing we're sure these additions will make all the difference to your summer events.

How Many Reasons Are There To Have A Man Cave?

How Many Reasons Are There To Have A Man Cave?

Reasons To Have A Man Cave
So the original cave men lived in quite sophisticated spaces, not very cave like at all. Although in the middle ages things moved on tenants could probably be more of a problem for landlords and had a smaller more peasant like space to live in. We're sure that modern man will want his man cave free of  any animal damage and so may well appreciate a tin sign.
Vintage Cock Feeding Tin Sign
'Scientists found that the cave man shelter was divided into three levels. The top was full of animal bones, suggesting it was a food-prep area where animals were butchered. The middle level was more of a living space, with a fire pit toward the back. And the bottom was a sort of staging area, with a workshop toward the front where stone tools were evidently made, and perhaps stored, ready for hunting forays'.
Rustic Wooden Shelf Wine Rack
Modern man has now found a new sanctuary in his man cave or personal space dedicated to hobbies, fun times, collections and areas to just chill out and be himself for a while without outside distractions and interruptions.
With our increasingly fast paced lifestyle impinging on out time and energy more and more it's no surprise that men are taking refuge in their man caves.
Personalising the space is one of the most important jobs when creating the ideal man cave, beginning with a sign to differentiate the space, claiming it as yours and yours alone as the man of the house.
Cast Metal Man Cave Sign
There are many other ways to enjoy a great man cave, from chilling with your favourite beer to just enjoying spending time doing the things you love.
Cast Iron Vintage Hand Held Bottle Openers
Think about having a great bottle opener in there and your favourite tipple. A bit of rustic furniture and maybe if its reminiscent of a wine cellar a few bar accessories.
Michelin Man Mascot Polished Cast Metal
Adorn your space with plaques on the wall and quirky memorabilia, from railway signs, garage plaques or just a funny sign that will give you and your mates a good laugh.
railway memorabilia cast plaques
We love our table footie, but that's a story for another time.
