Where To Use?
Gallery rails are commonly attached on top of shelving, cabinets and mantles as a decorative detail while preventing any items from falling.
They are most commonly found in kitchens as a practical and stylish addition to shelving.

POSTS
End post - Use at the end of a run, only 1 hole
Corner Post - 90-degree corner, usually used on the end of each straight run to return along the depth of the shelf.
Through Post - The rod runs straight through this post, used for spacing along the bar or joining 2 rods together.
Wall Bracket - This is for use when the rail ends at the wall, ideal for alcoves, cabinets etc.
We do not recommend spacing posts above 350mm.
If the gallery rail will run along the front of your shelving, use end posts at each end, and through posts every 8 - 14". If the brass gallery rail will be installed along the front and sides of your shelving, use corner posts and end posts.
RODS
Available in 250mm & 1000mm.
If the rod if not long enough, join 2 rods together with a through post.
We recommend to use 1000mm lengths for long sections and 250mm for shorter sections. These can easily be cut to size using a hacksaw. The cut sections can also be used for side runs if the length is sufficient.
FIXINGS
All our posts have both top fixings and a rear fixing which is an m4 thread (screws are provided for both)
- Screw Fixing -Traditional slotted brass woodscrews fixed through the top of each post
- Rear Fixing - M4 bolt fixed through the base of the post
How to cut the rods
- Rod can be easily cut to size with a hacksaw.
- Once cut sand down any sharp edges to ensure a smooth fit into the posts.
Tips
- Use 1000mm rod lengths where possible, it will save both time and money and you might be able to use offcuts for other sides.
- Cut rod 50mm shorter than your shelf length - eg. if your shelf is 800mm, cut down to 750mm.
- If your material is stone such as marble or granite you can use clear adhesive instead of drilling if desired.
- Space rods 8 - 14" apart evenly
- Draw out your design first to make sure you've measured properly.

Trade / B2B International Orders
International trade and B2B orders are shipped on a DAP/DDU basis, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
This means that import duties, taxes, VAT, customs clearance charges and any local handling fees are not collected at checkout and remain the responsibility of the customer/importer when the goods arrive in the destination country.
Where applicable, we will include the company details, VAT number and customs information provided at checkout to help support the import process. Please ensure these details are entered correctly before placing your order.
DAP/DDU shipments may be subject to local customs processing times, which are outside of our control.

Lovely solid brass
Lovely rail just perfect for my tea towels and oven gloves.
I’d planned to have this rail on this kitchen shelf before the kitchen extension was even built 😆. It has elevated the whole look of the kitchen . Just Beautiful .

Finished the job off perfectly
Absolutely love the finished effect of the bar rail. I went for the aged brass effect and hadn't realised that there were different designs. So I made a couple of ordering errors. Yesterday Home dealt with the returns very quickly. I got there in the end. The items on the shelf are still a work in progress!

We had a large house carpentry project and decided to go with all hardware from Yester Home to match. Their support, shipping and product were all amazing. We are very happy. Only suggestions is to not make the tiny tiny screws flat heads which easily break if too much pressure. We only broke one on the wall attachment for the rail and then changed screw driver to speciality small one and hand did everything else slowly.
Your website was very easy too navigate and made it a breeze to know what to order, how much to order, and complete my order. Additionally, everything was as easy to cut and install as described on the website. The quality of the railing and posts are lovely, and they made the perfect compliment to my new oven vent hood!
